17. Forks
ForksA fork is a rule change such that the software validating according to the old rules will see the blocks produced according to the new rules as invalid. In case of a fork, all nodes meant to work in accordance with the new rules need to upgrade their software and will no longer be compatible with old rules. This may impact the value, functionality, and other characteristics, such as the name of the Digital Assets. We are not responsible for any consequences arising from a fork, including any perceived, or actual, losses or missed gains. It is in our sole discretion to decide whether or not to support the cryptocurrencies subject to a fork or whether or not to distribute the forked Digital Assets to our users, with or without prior notification.
